PET FOOD RECALL: There is a recent recall of "wet" dog food. The recall affects "wet" food that is described as "cuts and gravy"
style. The products were sold in the US, Canada and Mexico between
December 3, 2006 and March 6, 2006. The manufacturer, Menu Foods,
Inc., sells private-label pet food to the largest of companies (i.e.,
WalMart, Safeway, Kroger, PetSmart, etc.) AND is a contract supplier
to other pet food brands such as Iams, Eukanuba, Nutro Max, Nutro
Natural Choice, etc.
If you feed canned food or wet food in foil packets, check the recall
information for potentially contaminated products on the Menu Foods
